Also, there is some evidence for medication that reduce anxiety,
and teachers can play a helpful role in monitoring the effects of
medication in a school day (Lopata & Thomeer, 2014).
In Short...
School can be a great place to get support in managing
and overcoming anxiety. For this to work, everyone
involved needs to understand ASD and anxiety, and
use tools and strategies that are best practice. A
calm child, and a calm brain, is open for learning.
